Learning the teen numbers is a challenge for Kindergarteners but they love, love to hide the zero. They say the number the “say the ten way” and then they hide the zero and they can also write it! So much fun! These activities make the concept stick too! What a great day to be Kindergartener!
First grade completed fluency boot camp last week! They practice timed reading, listened to passages, and read with partners!

Next week is our Senior Class Trip to Great Lakes Crossing and we are looking for some chaperones to go with us and ensure all the students are having a fun and safe experience. If you are the parent/guardian of a senior and are interested in joining us - please have your student pop down to Student Services or the front HS office to pick up a background check form for you to fill out. We will need these back by Friday to ensure we have enough chaperones for our trip next Wednesday!

We had 80 amazing bookmarks submitted at OEMS! Our 1st place bookmark was designed by Zoe P, 2nd place was designed by Kylynn S, and 3rd place was designed by Raven P. Zoe's bookmark will be printed and distributed to the entire school!
There were many different opportunities for students to enjoy reading at the Middle School this month. We had two whole school silent reads, had a March Madness Book Bracket, and ran a bookmark competition. Thank you to all students and staff for making March is Reading Month successful!
