Congratulations to Ovid-Elsie High School’s Student of the Week, junior Daniel! Pre-Calculus teacher, Mr. Gavenda nominated Daniel for his outstanding attitude and his eagerness to help fellow classmates. He enjoys playing football, baseball, fishing, and spending time with his family. Not only is Daniel a member of the Quiz Bowl team, NHS, and the Marauder Athletic Council, he’s also earned Summa Cum Laude honors the past two years. While undecided on where he will attend college, Daniel would like to further his studies in teaching or engineering after high school.

Congratulations to Ovid-Elsie High School’s Student of the Week, sophomore Jeremiah!
Mr. Topping nominated Jeremiah since he is consistently one of the highest scorers in Chemistry and is willing to assist others when they are stuck. In Computer App and Design, he goes above and beyond to challenge himself to create more advanced projects. He is a great student. Not only does Jeremiah excel in the classroom, he’s also active in cross country, wrestling, track & field, FFA, 4H, and the Robotics team. After graduation, Jeremiah plans to attend college for Robotic Engineering and hopes to help develop technology in the agricultural industry.
