Good morning Parents/Guardians of Senior Marauders!
Jostens came in last Friday and gave seniors a brief presentation on their products. They offer a variety of items including class rings, announcements, apparel, and graduation cap & gowns. Please ask your student about the information packet they were provided. Items, including the attire worn at graduation, will need to be purchased from their website (www.jostens.com) or by contacting their service center at 800-JOSTENS (800.567.8367).
You may find the website difficult to navigate if you are looking to purchase just the cap & gown package so we are providing a direct link to it here. The linked package is priced at $38 and includes the tassel. They offer an additional keepsake tassel on the second page but that is not the 'official' one that students would use at graduation so you can select ‘No Thanks’ to it and you will still receive a tassel.
If you know a recent grad of similar stature to your student who is willing to loan you their cap and gown, possibly a sibling or friend, we've had students do that in the past. In that case, you would only need to purchase the tassel for $15 or a cap with tassel for $25.
In 7th grade science class, students completed a spaghetti bridge investigation. Students practiced using group norms and roles and collecting data. In addition, students learned about independent and dependent variables in an experiment.

Apologies for the links not attaching in the previous message. Please see the attached document for access to the graduation cap and gown links. https://5il.co/2x2gs
