Help OEMS celebrate & support our Veterans by purchasing an American Flag for $1 Nov. 7th-Nov.10th. Each flag will have a tag attached with the name of the individual you would like to honor. All proceeds raised will be donated to our local VFW.
We are pleased to welcome our newest member of Marauder Nation to the athletic department, the new athletic director Mr. Chris Winter.
Mr. Winter spent six years as an Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance / Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Saginaw Valley State University. He also served as Associate Director of Sports Performance at Illinois State University for four years and has experience working at other universities including North Dakota State University, Western Illinois, and Eureka College. Mr. Winters is certified through the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (SCCC), and is Level-1 Certified through the United States Weightlifting Association.
Mr. Winter and his wife, Rachel, currently reside in Freeland, with their son, Conley. They cannot wait to join the Marauder Athletics Family!!
Starting 11/7/22 the O-E HS will be open for walking the halls. Enter through the Community Service doors, Monday-Thursday 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. Please walk the square only -don't go to the MS or to the HS Athletic areas. When school is not in session either a planned closure, or closed for inclement weather, it will also be closed for walking.

Good luck to our Varsity Volleyball team as they compete in Districts on 11/1. Congrats to our Varsity Football Team as they move on to playoff game #2 @ O-E on Fri, 11/4, & to our XC State Qualifiers as they compete at MIS Speedway on Sat, 11/5!
Elementary Halloween Parades will take place as scheduled. Leonard will be starting at 1:30 with E.E. Knight starting at 2:15. These parades will be on campus and take place out back of each of the schools. Just a reminder students leaving early will have to be signed out in the front office.
