Congratulations to Ovid-Elsie High School’s Student of the Week, sophomore Mikey B! Mikey was nominated by Mrs. Meister because of his willingness to help his classmates by asking questions to ensure that he understands the concepts and then using that knowledge to help his peers. He’s involved in varsity football, golf, and basketball and is an honor roll student. He also enjoys hanging out with family and playing Fortnite. After high school, he plans to attend college to study Sports Medicine. Way to be your best, Mikey!

In 7th grade STEM class, students designed and built bottle rockets out of empty one liter bottles. Students focused on aerodynamics and pressure when building their rockets. The challenge was to keep the rocket airborne as long as possible.

Good afternoon Parents/Guardians of Senior Marauders! Jostens came in today and gave your senior a brief presentation on their products. They offer a variety of items including class rings, announcements, apparel, and graduation cap & gowns. Please ask your student about the information packet they were provided. Items can be purchased on their website (www.jostens.com) or in person using the order form they were given today. Order forms are due OCTOBER 6TH when the Jostens rep returns to collect them. If you know a recent grad who is of similar stature to your student who is willing to loan you their cap and gown, possibly a sibling or friend, we've had students do that in the past. In that case, you would only need to purchase the tassel for $14 or a cap with tassel for $25. Order forms can be turned into the office or Dr. Faziani or Ms. Winsor any time before October 6th if you prefer to do the paper order instead of the website.
