Ovid-Elsie High School, in partnership with Educatius, welcomes international high school students to the school and community every year. The students are from all over the world and study alongside their American peers while living with a paid host family in the community. EEK students in Mrs. LaClair’s, Mrs. Ramirez’s, Mrs. McDowell's and Mrs. Sweet’s classes are recognizing acts of kindness with a “Kindness is Gold” theme! Each gold coin will represent an act of kindness given or witnessed. Some students then created some pot o’ gold artwork to display as well.

Kindergartners in Mrs. Snelling’s class celebrated Leap day with cool headbands, telling what thing that they will do in their extra day and made a Foodie Fun activity if something that leaps. Yes, it’s a frog. What a great day to be a kindergartner!

Volunteers needed for Reading Links!

Students learned the basic editing tools in Photoshop and were challenged to put them to the test by creating a new species of animal by combining 2 or more existing animals.





In 7th grade science class, we were investigating the phenomenon of the rising and sinking of air due to temperature changes.



March is Reading Month! OEMS will be celebrating with a variety of activities. We have a pajama day scheduled for March 6. We will also have a whole school silent read this day; make sure you bring your books!
