Cassidy H. achieved State Winner status in Swine Entrepreneurship, while several other chapter members received recognition for Outstanding Junior, Gold and Silver Academic Excellence, State Degrees, and Proficiency awards. State Degrees were conferred upon Abby T. (gold), Willow E. (silver), Cassidy H. (silver), and Dominic K. Proficiency Awards were earned by Cassidy H., Abby T., Willow E., and Josh M. Shining the spotlight on Student of the Week, sophomore Ava K! Nominated by Dr. Faziani, because she is always engaged and friendly. Additionally, she is always willing to participate and make sure that her peers understand the material in a group or whole-class activity. Plus, she is open to new and challenging ideas in the classroom. Ava is a member of the Ovid-Elsie Girls Varsity Soccer team. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She’s maintained a 3.9 GPA. After high school, she plans to attend college but is currently undecided about her field of study.

Ovid-Elsie High School, in partnership with Educatius, welcomes international high school students to the school and community every year. The students are from all over the world and study alongside their American peers while living with a paid host family in the community. We are currently looking for host families for the 2024 – 2025 school year. Contact Tracy Somers at the high school at tracy.somers@ovidelsie.org

Students are creating an illusion photo in which they appear at least 3 times. Students set up their photos and then used Photoshop to put them all together.
