An email went out to them that included the link for the online application and instructions on completing the application process that they can share with you when they get home!

The MS Student Council has planned a Holiday Workshop as an after-school activity for middle schoolers. The workshops will be held in the IC on Thursdays between 3:00 pm and 4:30 pm from November 30th to December 21st. As space is limited, students are requested to sign up in the MS Office for their preferred activity to give others an opportunity to participate. The cost of each workshop is $3, which includes materials for the craft, wrapping, and a light snack. Payment is due when signing up to reserve your spot.

Students in Mrs. Collin's Board Game Design class are working on holiday games. They are creating meeples using clay and painting their boards.

Our School Counselor Mrs. Alexander and our School Nurse Mrs. Jones joined forces to teach this month’s lesson “Fair doesn’t always mean Equal”. Equal is the same for everyone no matter the situation but the students learned equal doesn’t always meet whatever the need make be. Giving a bandage to a person with a cut is the correct solution but a bandage for a bloody nose or a food allergy will not solve or help the problem. There must be other options.

Reminder, no school tomorrow - Wednesday, November 15, 2023
Wishing all hunters good luck and be safe!

This week during Math, Mrs. Sturdivant's Kindergarten friends focused on measurement! Students use different measuring tools to measure classroom items. Students also practiced with the Math terms "longer than vs. shorter than" and "taller than vs. shorter than". Great work friends!

On Election Day, Miss Loynes first graders read the book "I Voted" and learned about the importance of having a voice in decisions. They saw firsthand how every vote counts, even in a fun cookie election. This activity gave them a clear understanding of the value of their vote.
