Congratulations to our Battle of the Bookmarks Contest winners at OEMS! Our third place bookmark was created by Shaelyn, our second place bookmark was created by Blake, and our first place bookmark was created by Raven! We had 70 great entries this year!

Good morning OEHS!
Earlier this week the Counseling Department visited our current 9-11th graders to discuss classes for the first semester of next year and what options would be available. During this meeting we provided them with preference sheets to rank their top elective choices and indicate which core classes they will be in for next year. We understand some students were not here on those days, so we will be doing another run through of this information when we return from break for all the students that missed it the first time. After that we will send copies of the presentations to all students and parents along with information regarding AP course applications, Early Graduation Applications, and Work-Based Learning options.
No students have picked classes, only provided us with their preferences, so there will be no course selection penalties for a student that missed the original presentations this week.
Scheduling presentations for current 8th graders moving into HS next year will take place after break.
Good luck to our athletes competing today. Go Marauders!

Good luck to our Girls Soccer and Boys Lacrosse teams tonight. Go Marauders!

Attention parents of middle schoolers. The middle school yearbook have been sent to the publisher and will be available the first week of June. We sold out of yearbooks last year. Order yours at www.jostens.com. There is only one press run for 150 books, when the books are gone, that's it.
Miss Casaday's Kindergarten class made leprechaun traps to try and catch a leprechaun. Maybe we will have better luck next year!

Congratulations to Ovid-Elsie High School’s Student of the Week, junior Robert! Nominated by Ms. Harrington, “Robert is an incredibly kind, thoughtful, intelligent, and hard-working student. Robert comes to class and works hard every single day, often going above and beyond what is asked of him. He genuinely wants to learn, works well with his classmates, and is such an awesome history student. I can't wait to see what he continues to accomplish this year!” Robert was a part of the district and regional winning football team his sophomore year, runs track, and has been an FFA member since 8th grade. In his free time, he enjoys working out, swimming, hanging out with friends, and playing games with family. After high school, he plans to attend college to study finance and hopefully play college football.
