During the holiday season, the gingerbread man from Mrs. Murray’s Kindergarten class went missing! According to the letters, postcards and packages sent, he traveled all over the United States. The class loved learning about the different states and hearing about his adventures. A big thank you to all who participated !!

Congratulations to Ovid-Elsie High School’s Student of the Week, junior Chaycen! Mrs. Weatherwax said, "Chaycen has been putting forth the extra effort in his academics all the while being an important participating member of the varsity soccer team. He has shown great maturity within the past couple of years, is always there to lend a helping hand, and is currently earning all A's.” Chaycen has been the varsity soccer team captain for two years, achieving Honorable Mention all-conference accolades. He’s also a varsity track and field team member, played tennis for one year, and wrestled for two. After high school, he would like to live long and make a lot of money but if that doesn’t work out, he’ll live in a van down by the river.

Mrs. Miller‘s 6th grade science class got a chance to get creative this week by building 3-D models of plants and animal cells. This project helps students understand the structure and function of the organelles within a cell.

Members of the EE Knight Kindness Club stuffed and delivered goodie bags for all of the residents of Ovid Healthcare Center. On delivery day they also sang several Christmas carols to the residents and staff members. It was such a fun way to spread some holiday kindness and cheer! See the following link for some cheerful carols: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11nomPOe1r3zlod5FZUsEC04UDf214jYs/view?usp=sharing
