We have an attendance reward day coming up! For those of you who don’t know what that is, any student who is in attendance on the reward day, gets a….you’ve guessed it….reward!!! My sources are telling me that this one might be cold and delicious. So make your intention to get to school every day!
Speaking of rewards…we have the 6th grade Halloween reward coming up October 23rd, for those with:
All passing grades
No missing work
2 or less tardies
No teacher detentions
No discipline referrals
There’s still time to turn it around if you have missing assignments or failing grades. The reward is a great goal to work towards.
LUNCH:
Chicken patty sandwich, sweet potatoes, banana and milk.
And now it’s time for Manic Mystery Monday so pop your thinking caps on and teachers dial 1420 when you have heard the entire question and your class has an answer:

Note: Rubeus Hagrid originally purchased Fluffy from a "Greek chappie" in a pub. Hagrid loaned Fluffy to the headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, to aid in guarding the Philosopher's Stone, Fluffy's greatest weakness was the inability to resist falling asleep to the sound of music.

A reminder that this year’s Monster Mile is October 9th during 7th hour. Sign up in Rooms if you want to run and get a T-shirt. It’s $15 to do so and $2 to watch the race and enjoy the fun activities. Money is handed in to your 7th hour teacher. If you want a shirt and it is your intention to run, you must sign up by September 24th via the link in Rooms.
Speaking of running…please remember that we always WALK in the hallways, in the classrooms and in the cafeteria. With around 280 people in the building running is dangerous.

Pepperoni pizza, celery stix, pineapple and milk.
We will have concessions tomorrow at the end of the day so bring your monies for the sugar sling (unless you loathe sweet treats of course)!
Today is Thankful Thursday. Our gratitude prompt for today is: think with intention about something that you look forward to as the weather turns a bit nippier and we start to move into fall.
