April Announcements

Announcements Monday April 1st, 2024:

Good morning staff and students!  Welcome to Ovid-Elsie Middle School where we are inspiring life-long learners to achieve their full potential and excel in a changing world.  Today is Monday, April 1st, 2024.  Please stand for the pledge…..

Please check PS for any changes in your schedules for the beginning of the 4th marking period.  Since this is the last MP, now is the time to really be pouring on the steam in class.  If you have not been happy with your grades so far, make that extra effort to pay attention, complete EVERY assignment and ask your teachers if you don’t understand.  Make these last couple of months count!

Just a reminder that today is a PBIS day so we can all review our expectations, such as taking care of your garbage in the cafeteria and not throwing anything, at any time!

Please check the lost and found for your belongings.  It’s getting to that time again when we will be donating items so make sure that your stuff doesn’t end up gone for good!!

And now it’s time for Manic Mystery Monday so pop your thinking caps on and teachers dial 1420 when you have heard the entire question and your class has an answer:

Question: Which President was inaugurated on April 30th, 1789?

Answer: George Washington.

Class: Collins.

Note: The Senator of Pennsylvania observed that, during the inaugural speech, Washington trembled when he faced the assembled representatives and senators. "This great man was agitated and embarrassed," Maclay added, "more than ever he was by the leveled Cannon or pointed Musket."

Have a marvelous Monday everybody!
