Don’t forget folks that we have an early release on Wednesday for the Thanksgiving break.

Thursday night 11/17 we wrestled against Durand and New Lothrop. There was many hard fought battles but at the end of the night we won the majority.  

 

Highlights 

 

Will B went 2-0 with 1 pin and a 6-2 win

Levi S went 2-0 with 2 pins 

Seth S earned a 1 pin

Travis W went 2-0 with 2 pins

Ryker P went 2-0 with 2 pins

Ryan G won 2 matches with a pin and a 5-4 victory

Easton A was 1-0 with a pin

Chandler H was 1-0 with a pin

Jeremiah S was 1-0 with a pin

Alex T won with a pin

Landen V won by Technical fall 17-2

 

It was a great showing for our MS wrestlers! 

Friday night we wrestled in the MMAC Mid-Season Tournament.  There was a lot of really close matches decided by 1 point. We had a lot of success and managed to place 12 wrestlers out of 17.

Tickets are available for the band fundraiser bbq dinner on December 6th, which occurs right before the holiday concert.  See any band member to buy tickets for $10 each or school aged children up to 10yrs for $6 (preschool and  younger are free).

Note: There were approximately 53 pilgrims who attended the first Thanksgiving day feast on November 1621 where they ate venison, goose, duck, fish, porridge and cornbread.

We have 6th hour make-up class in the IC today.  Teachers will let you know if you are on the list.  Please ensure that you bring EVERYTHING needed to work on your missing assignments, Chromebooks, pencils, paper, worksheets, etc.

The 7th grade boys basketball team lost a battle against Montrose last night.  They have one more game this week tonight at New Lothrop. Good luck tonight!--

The 8th grade boys won 48-6.  Congratulations guys!! 

Don’t forget folks that we have an early release on Wednesday for the Thanksgiving break and we will be selling concessions on the way out of school.

We’re so close to Thanksgiving be sure to take a minute and really think about what you are thankful for, for example, you might be thankful for an extra special bonus Mrs Holley’s Chuckle Time:

Answer:  Their yammies.

Happy Birthday over the holiday to Ms Delo and Mrs Baese, Brooklyn T, Maverick H, Dominic H, Mr Latz, Chase F, Evan A and Daniel V.  Hope that you have a terrific birthday guys!

Don’t forget, if you are out and about over the holiday, to get new, unwrapped toys for our Toys 4 Tots box in the lobby.  Toys go to local kids who need a little help at Christmas.

Wrestling Announcements:

Tuesday we wrestled against Lakeville and New Lothrop at Lakeville High School.  It was a hard battle and we were ready!

Will B went 2-0 (1pin & 8-2 victory)

Levi S  went 2-0 ( two 1st period pins)

Ryker P went 2-0  ( 2 pins) 

Landen V went 2-0 (2 pins)

 Also with notable wins on the night!

 We continue to improve and show more grit! Go Marauders!

And Boys’ Basketball:

The 7th grade boys basketball had a great comeback win last night against New Lothrop by the score of 35-32.  Their team defense led them to the victory!  They are back at it next Monday at Byron.

 The 8th grade also played hard and won.

Congratulations Guys!!

 

And now it’s time for something to be reeeeeeally thankful for, an extra special Thanksgiving Mrs Holley’s Chuckle Time:

Answer:  The outside.

Question:  How did the turkey get home for Thanksgiving?

Answer:  He took the gravy train.
