We are starting our annual MI vs MSU Coin Wars today. The coin jars are available in the lobby. It’s only running Monday through Friday so gather all your spare change and dollars to fundraise for the homeless and to show your support for your favorite team. Don’t forget that you add money to your team with coins and take away money from your rivals by adding paper money to their jar.
This Wednesday you will be able to show your team colors by wearing your U of M or MSU team apparel.
And now it’s time for Manic Mystery Monday so pop your thinking caps on and teachers dial 1420 when you have heard the entire question and your class has an answer:
Question: In 2021 what was ranked the WORST Halloween candy?
Answer: Circus Peanuts which have been around since the 19th century and actually led to the development of Lucky Charms when a General Mills employee cut pieces into a bowl of Cheerios.

Note: Before that candy corn had the throne of ickiest Halloween Candy, probably because it’s basically like eating candle wax.

Student Challenge will be meeting in the GYM this THURSDAY from 7:20-7:50AM? Student Challenge is welcome to everyone and NO sign up is necessary, just show up!

The Spirit Bus is open to middle school students for the ride to the game on Friday. You can sign up in the middle school office. There is no charge for the bus, but tickets for the game must be bought online at GoFan. If you have signed up please check your school email for information.
1- Here is the link for tickets: https://gofan.co/app/school/MI9884 Tickets are $7. It looks like there is not a service fee. Students riding the Spirit Bus to Altmont, sign up and we'll get a ticket purchased for you if you don't have a way to purchase one. No worries!

48. Artificial Noisemakers – a. The use of artificial noisemakers is prohibited during the MHSAA football tournament. b. List of artificial noisemakers includes, but not limited to: cowbells, airhorns, drums, megaphones, thunder sticks, sirens, bells, etc.
3- Feel free to bring rally towels, posters, OE flags, and your loud voices to cheer on our Marauders!
Tomorrow is the final day for Coin Wars. We’ll be cutting it off at 8am.
We will have concessions tomorrow at the end of the day so bring your monies for the sugar sling!

8th grade paperwork must be returned before the field trip on Wednesday. There is a green sheet and the parent consent form.
Monday is Halloween. You may wear school appropriate costumes, no masks, weapons or gore and moderate facial make-up. If you are unsure whether your costume will be permitted please ask in the office.
Our Student Council will be hosting a trick-or-treat event in the hallways at our usual walking time before school, so you may wish to bring a treat bag.
We will have concessions at the end of the day today. Remember no eating or drinking on the bus. Items must be kept in your bags.
