We have some fliers in the office for the Elsie Fall Festival happening this Saturday, October 1st. There will be a cupcake decorating contest, a golf cart show, pumpkin decorating contest and fall photo booth.
Your Student Council have put together a number of fun activities for Spirit Week, including lunch fundraisers and Spirit dress up days. Tuesday you can purchase pickles for $1 and pre-pay for pizza on Wednesday. It's 'Wear Your Class Color Day' so 6th wear gold and red, 7th wear black and yellow and 8th wear blue and white.
We’re also going to be celebrating Spirit week with a special week long Superhero edition of Manic Mystery Monday so pop your thinking caps on and teachers dial 1420 when you have heard the entire question and your class has an answer:

Your Spirit Week day tomorrow is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Pizza will be available for purchase for $1 at lunchtime. You must pre-order for pizza slices tomorrow so remember to purchase them today.
Thursday prepare to dress like a Superhero or a Villain and we will be having a bake sale where items are $1 as a MS fundraiser.
Decorating of our Middle School doors has come to a close. We would like to congratulate our winners. 1st place goes to Mr. Latz's classroom. 2nd place goes to Mrs. Cook's class. The Student Council would like to say thank you to everyone who participated! The doors look amazing!
Congratulations to our girls basketball teams for playing great games last night. The 8th grade fell short but played tough against Montrose 31-21 and the 7th grade came out on top 42-17. The Lady Marauders are improving every week! Their next games are on Monday, October 3, in Lakeville. --

A wee reminder that our doors open at 7:20am in the morning. For your safety and to ensure adequate supervision please ensure that you are here at 7:20 and are not dropped off before.
Our spirit day tomorrow for the Homecoming Weekend is Blue and Gold OE Spirit Day.
We have a bake sale today at lunchtime where everything is a $1 and tomorrow popcorn is available for $1. I love it when things are simple!
We will have concessions on the way out of school tomorrow so bring your monies but remember that food and drink must be kept in backpacks on the bus or they may be confiscated.

We have the sugar sling this afternoon on the way out of school. Concessions will be available to buy but please remember that if you are riding the bus items must be in your backpack or you may be asked to throw them away.
We would like to recognize Nicholas F for being a great OE citizen, going above and beyond and taking care of our school. He’s a gold slip winner and can go to concessions after school and receive a free treat.
