We will be doing the sugar sling concessions at the end of school every day this week until the sugar is gone, so come often, come early!!
A wee reminder that Friday is a half day and the last day of the 2021-22 school year. You might want to think about starting to take your stuff out of your lockers friends!
And now it’s time for Trivia Tuesday so pop your thinking caps on and teachers dial 1420 when you have heard the entire question and your class has an answer:
Question: What city in North America has the highest temps ever recorded.
Answer: Death Valley in California had a temp of 134 degrees Fahrenheit (56.7 degrees Celsius) on July 10th, 1913.

Note: Incidentally Fairbanks Alaska has the coldest temps on record in N. America.

I have fliers coming to you in 1st hour and in the office for OE Youth Soccer Tryouts on Tuesday 28th and Wed 29th of June. They also have information about the OE Soccer Clinic Happening June 27th-June 30th.
I also have fliers going out for Basketball camp so look for them in your 1st hour also.
You guys ate all the sugar!!! You defeated the sugar sling. We have no more concessions.

School is a lot like toilet paper. You only miss it when it’s gone.
Some of you are more than familiar with the Mrs Holley TED talk. Possibly more familiar than you ever wanted to be. Here’s a final one to get you through the summer:
We had an amazing year, not without its challenges, right enough, but here we all are! We all pulled through and we did that by leaning on each other for a shoulder to cry on or a laugh. If there’s one thing I would have you all remember it’s that you are not walking through the day alone and 8th grade you will always be an OE Middle School kid. If you need us, we’re always here.
