Travis M and Aidan D enjoyed a school free birthday yesterday. Hope that you had a good day guys. Today it’s Travis W and Seth L’s birthdays. Hope that you also have a great day guys….even if you do have to be at school!
Today we have NWEA make-ups and will be running a 1 hour delay schedule. You are in advisory until 9 and then move on to your 1st hour. Each grade is doing their own version of the make-up process so ask your teachers for details if you missed the exams.
Tomorrow there is Science Olympiad practice after school in Mr Wertz’s class.
Wednesday is HAT DAY. For $1 you can wear your favorite hat throughout the day. Student Council Members will be in the lobby to approve your hat and collect money. School appropriate hats only!
Thursday is Student Challenge before school in Mr. Hazle’s room
Reminder that if you want a yearbook, you MUST order one by January 28th to get one.
Don’t forget to rummage through the cupboard for some non-perishables to put your advisory class in the lead in the Food Drive for the Elsie Food Bank. In-date items only please!!!

Today is a good day to add a few items to the weekend shopping list for the OEMS Food Drive. Let’s help some people out and make sure that the winners of the Christmas door decorating contest don’t win AGAIN!!! Bring it Peeps!!!
Thorny Acres Sportsman Club is hosting an after school archery program beginning February 3rd. Fliers are available in the office for pick up at lunchtime or before/after school.
Finally, tomorrow is the end of Semester 1. Be proud of the hard work that you’ve put in this semester and let’s step it up even more for Semester 2.

We have a new schedule starting Monday for 3rd quarter. Your first hour teachers will hand those out Monday.
Next week we have hat day to look forward to, so bring a dollar to wear a hat on Wednesday, 26th. Student council members will be in the lobby on Wednesday to take your money and give you a wristband.
Bring your non-perishable items for the food drive and give them to your advisory class teacher for a chance to win the title, “Food Drive Dominator”, and a class treat.
Time is running out for you to purchase your copy of the super awesome middle school yearbook. The last day to order is next Friday. Get your copy before they’re gone.
Don’t forget concessions are available on your way out of school this afternoon.
We would like to recognize the following students for their positive behavior: Aubrey P, Kambria L, and Alaina B. Thank you for being a positive role model here at OEMS. Please stop by the concessions after school for a free treat.
