Question: Three of Santa’s reindeer’s names begin with the letter “D.” What are those names?

Answer: Dancer, Dasher, and Donner

Class: Grandstaff.

Note: The poem, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’ by Clement Clarke Moore in 1823 brought popularity to the folktale of Santa and his reindeer.  In 1949 the song, ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’ added one more reindeer to the original team. The names of the team are, of course, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen and Rudolph.
