Due to PS acting loopy we missed some birthdays on Friday so: Happy Birthday to Chase F and our very own superstar basketball Coach and Social Studies Guru, Mr Latz on Friday and Evan Anderson over the weekend and today to Robert Kebler. Hope that you have had a wonderful birthday guys!

And now it’s time for Manic Mystery Monday so pop your thinking caps on and teachers dial 1420 when you have heard the entire question and your class has an answer:

Question: How fast would Father Christmas have to fly in order to visit the home of every little boy and girl in the world on Christmas Eve?

Answer: 4 million, 705 thousand, 882 km per hour.

Class: Grandstaff

Note: Santa travels 160,000,000km, to visit 200 million children, in 800 million homes, in only 34 hours... Luckily the children are spread across a wide range of time zones buying Santa an additional 24 hours; even so he flies at a brisk: 4,705,882km/h.  This is far slower than the speed of light, but still fast enough that the air resistance would vaporise Santa, along with all the children’s gifts…Good thing he has a MAGIC SLED!!!!

Have a marvelous Monday everybody!
