Friday night we wrestled in the MMAC Mid-Season tournament at New Lothrop. It was a great night for our wrestling team. Collectively our team earned 33 wins and 9 loses. Most of our losses were close matches within a point or 2. We had 8 Marauders finish in 1st place!
Logan W, Ryker P, Lance W, Chaycen T, Chandler H, Noah H, Josh M, Carson O
And 7 Marauders finished in 2nd place:
Gavin W, Caleb Cn, Landon V, Connor M, Evan A
And Cooper B had a 3rd place win
All of our wrestlers won at least 1 match on the night and some earned their first wins. Go Marauders!!
A reminder that we will be selling concessions tomorrow at the end of the day and also that we will have no school Wed, Thurs or Friday in order to celebrate Thanksgiving.
And now it’s time for Manic Mystery Monday and we have a special Thanksgiving themed question for you today so teachers call 1420 when your students have heard the entire question and have an answer:
Question: How heavy was the world’s heaviest turkey?
Answer: The heaviest turkey in the world was an 86-pound bird named Tyson in the UK. In contrast the average Thanksgiving turkey is 15 pounds. So about 5 ½ families would get dinner and leftovers out of Tyson.

We will have an early release for wrestling at 2:30pm and 7th and 8th grade volleyball at 2:45pm today.

Congratulations to Clarissa B and Kendal T on winning the Kindness Week Challenge. You can pick up your prize at lunchtime from the office Ladies.
