School Board Meeting - 6:30 pm in the Information Center

7:00 pm - Zoom session for those interested in University of Michigan campuses, link will be emailed

Other Matters of Interest

FREE Breakfast & Lunch Available Every School Day for ALL Students!

  • Yearbooks are in!!  They may be picked up in S-7 from Mr. Puffpaff.

  • Permission slips are available in the high school office to participate in the 2021 Powderpuff games. Participants must return the permission slip by 3:30 pm on Thursday, October 7th to the high school office.

  • Options for excusing a student’s absence

When excusing a student due to an illness, please be specific of any symptoms the student is experiencing. 

  • Provide a doctor’s note for the absence (if applicable).

  • Email the attendance secretary at michele.moore@ovidelsie.org.

  • Call the high school office at 989-834-2271, press 1 for HS.

             FOR EARLY DISMISSAL:

Send your student to school the day of the absence with a signed note stating the date, early dismissal time and the purpose of their early release.  The student needs to provide the note AT THE START OF THE CLASS PERIOD to the teacher of the class they need to leave in.  At the designated time, the student will be released from class and needs to report to the office prior to leaving school grounds to check out with Mrs. Moore. 

  • *Emails were sent (9/9/21) to all eligible junior and senior students who have a 3.5 (or higher) GPA to be considered for National Honor Society for the 2021-2022 school year.

    • Student activity forms are due by Friday, September 24 at 3:00pm for consideration.

    • Last year members must submit a form; membership is not automatic.
