Friday was our last day finding the Marauder Dude around the school.  He was hiding on the wall in Mr. Powell's office, visible through the glass from the lobby. Congrats to those who found him: Alexis S, Dannika C, & Ben W. You can come down to the office for your prize.

The 8th grade boys had their first two games of their season this past Saturday.  The B-Team went 1-1 over the weekend.  They lost to a tough Montrose team in their first game 16-32.  Then they won a hard fought game against New Lothrop 17-14.  The A-Team went 2-0 this weekend by beating Mt. Morris by the score of 53-15 and by beating New Lothrop 68-16.  Awesome work to both teams!!!

There will be science olympiad practice tomorrow, Tuesday March 9th until 4:20 in Mr. Wertz’s room.

Happy Birthday today to: Collin J, Jason H and Damien C!  Have a great day Guys!!!🎈

And now we have a March Madness Motivation Monday quote from Michael Jordan:

“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”

Happy Monday!

Fact:. If you took out all the empty space in our atoms, you could fit the entire human race into the volume of a sugar cube!

This is because atoms are 99.9999999999999% empty space. If you could squeeze all the empty space out of all the atoms in all the 7 billion people in the world, you could indeed fit them in the volume of a sugar cube.
