Your student council has a new project they are inviting the school to participate in: APPRECIATING LOCAL HEROES! Our Ovid & Elsie fire fighters, police, nurses, & veterans may not be famous or Youtube sensations, but we want to let them know that they mean the world to us and are heroes to us by writing them letters of appreciation. If you would like to help here's the link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B0F4FA5AB2CA7F85-letters.  You can also check your email or the Schoology announcements for a sign up link.  You can sign up for one group of heroes there, write a 4-8 sentence letter typed or handwritten, and turn it in an addressed envelope to the office & we'll stamp it and mail it! MVP students can mail from home. Addresses are included on the sign up. Lets come together to celebrate our amazing local heroes!

Mrs. Spicer and Ms. Winsor are starting some peer counseling groups and would love for you to join!  There are 5 different groups available and they will be done virtually on Wednesdays so both F2F and MVP students can participate.  This is a great way to get to know others and share your experiences and progress with the different issues listed, so we can all support each other.  Sign up via this link: https://forms.gle/y38wG5YUviU2toyGA , by going to the MS Counseling Google Classroom, or coming to the office and filling out the good old-fashioned paper slip and dropping it in the BRIGHT PINK box :) This has been a tough year on all of us for a variety of reasons so you are not alone - if you have questions stop by the counseling office or email Mrs. Spicer or Ms. Winsor.

If you are interested in joining the MS Science Olympiad team please ask Mr Wertz for details today.  Practices begin next week.
