Question: What is the name for a group of witches?
Answer: A coven.
Class:
Note: A group of witches is called a coven. The mythology of witches has them meeting under cover of night, often in groups of 13, although some of the most famous witches in literature appear in a group of 3 in Shakespeare’s play ‘Macbeth’; from which came the familiar phrase ‘hubble bubble, toil and trouble.’. This is actually a misquote and actually read ‘Double, double, toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.’.
Have a marvelous Monday everybody!
