There will be a parent meeting for the chess club this Wednesday, September 16th after school in room 103, Mr. Elliott's room. Anyone dedicated to learning about Chess Club should stop by, learn more, and see what the team is all about.
This week is Homecoming and we are having a Spirit Week to celebrate:
Monday - Comfy Day (PJ & comfy clothing)
Tuesday - ESPN Day (Favorite jersey, athletic wear, team colors)
Wednesday - Red Carpet (Dress to impress or like a celebrity)
Thursday - Class Color (8th gr Blue, 7th Gr Red, 6th Gr Green or character in your class theme)
Friday - Spirit Day (Blue & Gold)
This year’s Monster Mile is October 9th during 7th hour. Sign up in Rooms if you want to run and get a T-shirt. It’s $15 to do so and $2 to watch the race and enjoy the fun activities, such as, volleyball, football, chalk, cornhole and 9 Square. There is also cider and a bake sale so bring extra money for treats. Parents are allowed to run and watch the race. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place all get candy. If you want a shirt and to run, you must sign up by September 24th via the link in Rooms.
LUNCH:
Popcorn chicken, sweet potato fries, mandarin oranges and milk.
And now it’s time for Manic Mystery Monday, and we have a Disney inspired question for Spirit Week so pop your thinking caps on and teachers dial 1420 when you have heard the entire question and your class has an answer:

FFA Members FFA Members, Please stop by Mrs. Miller's room tomorrow morning or lunch to pick up your permission forms for the Regional recreation night at Perry HS on September 30, 2026turned no later then 9/25 if you would like to attend. We will be leaving Ovid-Elsie HS at 5:30 PM and arriving back at 9:15 PM. Please bring $5 for the cost of pizza, drinks and DJ.
