We had a very special staff birthday over the holiday weekend, our amazing admin assistant in the office, Mrs. Martenis, celebrated her birthday. Mrs M. we are so thankful that you joined our family. You are a bright, smiling presence when students might not be feeling well or need help. You make the middle school a nicer place to be! Happy Birthday!
LUNCH:
Chicken quesadilla, refried beans, strawberry cup and milk.
Student Challenge will be starting this Thursday morning in the IC before school! If you don't know what it is, it's for any middle schooler looking to grow in their faith. It starts at 7:37 in the IC. Any questions, see Mrs. Willbanks or Mrs. Bushard.

Breakfast clean up
Student Challenge will be starting this Thursday morning in the IC before school! If you don't know what it is, it's for any middle schooler looking to grow in their faith. It starts at 7:37 in the IC. Any questions, see Mrs. Willbanks, or Mrs. Bushard.
There will be a parent meeting for the chess club on September 16th after school in room 103, Mr. Elliott's room. Anyone curious about Chess Club should stop by, learn more, and see what the team is all about.

Next week is Homecoming and we are having a Spirit Week to celebrate:
Monday - Comfy Day (PJ & comfy clothing)
Tuesday - ESPN Day (Favorite jersey, athletic wear, team colors)
Wednesday - Red Carpet (Dress to impress or like a celebrity)
Thursday - Class Color (8th gr Blue, 7th Gr Red, 6th Gr Green or character in your class theme)
Friday - Spirit Day (Blue & Gold)
Your Citizenship Class has an announcement:
This year’s Monster Mile is October 9th during 7th hour. It is $15 to run and get a T-shirt, $2 to watch the race and enjoy the activities. There will also be other events, such as Cider, chalk, volleyball, football, cornhole and 9 Square are some of the fun events. and a bake sale so bring extra money for treats. Parents are allowed to run and watch the race. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place all get candy. If you want a shirt and to run, you must sign up by September 24th via the link in Rooms.

Happy Birthday today to Michael K. and over the weekend to Abby R. Have a wonderful birthday guys! We also have a very special staff birthday this weekend for Mrs Willbanks!! It’s her mission to bring a love of all things literary to every single person that she meets. She’s dedicated and creative and utterly devoted to her students and the school. She’s a warrior who keeps on smiling and bringing joy to others, no matter what! We love you Mrs Willbanks, Happy Birthday!
