We had a very special staff birthday this weekend. Our sweet, and sassy, superhero, Science teacher, Mrs. Miller, celebrated her birthday on Saturday. What that lady doesn't know about farming, plants and animals ,and all things FFA, could fit on the head of the pin! She carries everything that life throws at her with grace and a smile. Happy Birthday Mrs Miller!!
Any 7th & 8th grade students who are interested in participating in Student Council, applications are available in the office and must be filled out and returned by 9am, this Wednesday, September 2nd.
Chess Club is getting ready to start. All skill levels are welcome, from brand-new beginners to experienced players. There will be a parent meeting on Wednesday, September 16th, after school, in room 103, Mr. Elliott's room.

So you are all settling in wonderfully to the new school year and you know what that means….it’s time to start counting tardies. Make sure that you are grabbing what you need for your next class and then heading straight there. Teachers will start marking you tardy if you are later than the class bell. If you have a problem with your locker, let your teacher know before coming to the office to get help.

Ok bear with me. We have a lot of birthdays to celebrate:
In addition to having a heart the size of Texas, she’s the silent ninja of the middle school. Stealthily hiding in the shadows and doing all the stuff that you didn’t even know needed to be done. We couldn’t do it without her! Happy Birthday Mrs Tuma. And tomorrow to Aralynn Vannest, on Saturday to Isla M., Sunday is Cade M. and Monday - Labor Day is Jayden C. birthday. Hope that you have a terrific day guys! And another staff birthday this weekend! Our 6th grade Queen of all things literary, lover of sunny days and beaches. May your birthday weekend be wonderful Mrs Duckert - Hau’oli la Hanau!
