Answer: Vatican City.

Note: Vatican City is the smallest country in the world, covering only about 0.17 to 0.27 square miles (0.44–0.49) and located entirely within the city of Rome, Italy. Good morning, Marauders!
Yesterday, our middle school track and field team competed at home and we have some big achievements to celebrate.
First, a new school record! Bella S. broke the 8th grade girls 400m dash record with a time of 1:05.58, taking down the previous record set just last year. Congratulations, Bella!
We also had three performances qualify for the Mid Michigan Megastar Meet. Bella S. in the 400m dash, Isabella I. in the pole vault at seven feet, and the girls 4x200 relay team of Bella S., Lauren F., Trinadee M., and Raven P. all hit qualifying standards.
Other first-place finishes on the day included Ethan J. winning both the 55m and 200m hurdles, Raven P. in the 200m dash, Sofia C. in the 800m run, Elizabeth K. in both the 55m hurdles and shot put, Abby R. in the long jump, and both the girls 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams.
Let's give our track team a huge round of applause for representing Ovid-Elsie with great performances, grit, and team spirit. Go Marauders!
Current 6th and 7th graders interested in playing youth football in the fall should stop by the office and pick up a flyer regarding upcoming registration dates. Both boys AND girls are encouraged to play!”
