This is an ATTENDANCE REWARD WEEK - every day we will check the average attendance for each grade and at the assembly on Thursday we will announce the winning grade level for the week. The winning grade will receive ice-cream sandwiches, so make sure that you are here all week to give your grade the best chance to win!
This past Saturday, our middle school Science Olympiad team competed against 15 other schools in the regional competition at Haslett High School. Our team did a great job and medaled in 5 events. Those medal winners were: Kayden H. and Troy A. 6th place in Boomilever, Trentin Z. and Coltyn S. 6th place in Entomology, Adam J. and Trentin Z. 6th place in Machines, Marcus P. and Coltyn S. 5th place in Scrambler, and Adam J. 6th place in Rocks and Minerals. Congratulations to all team members on a great effort!
Track season begins this afternoon. Practice begins at 3:15 in the gym and runs until 5:15 pm.
It is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. You must have a physical on file, and your parents need to fill out the final forms online. Bring a water bottle to practice.
6th grade Student Council applicants will hear back from Mrs. Willbanks sometime tomorrow or in the following days.

We had 60 amazing bookmarks submitted this year! The whole school has voted, and we have the top three to share with you. In third place is bookmark number 9 created by Liely C., in second place is bookmark number 12 created by Grace L., and in first place is bookmark number 40 created by Leighton L. Her bookmark will be printed and distributed to the entire school. Awesome job this year everyone!
