The first registration for Youth Baseball & Softball will be held on January 11, 2026, in the OE Middle School Lobby from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. Registration forms are available in the office.

There is a Science Olympiad Sign Up Meeting next Tuesday, Dec 16th, after school in Mr Wertz’s room from 3-4pm.

We have some things coming up this week:

  • Wednesday is an early release day for students @ 11:15am 

  • Thursday we have a FFA meeting before school, in Mrs Miller’s room.

  • The band Christmas concert is Thursday at 6pm.  Come out and support your school band!

  • Lots happening on Friday:

    • Latz’s class have hit their fundraising goal but many 1st hour classes are still working towards their Christmas Fundraiser goal!!!  Items are due by Friday.

    • Friday is a pajama day.

    • The Student Citizenship class is hosting a Hat Day. Pay $1 to wear a hat.

    • And Student Council is hosting a Christmas Party & Dance N from 3-4:30.  Cost is $3 & tickets will be for sale that day in the morning & during lunches. 

Next week the Citizenship Class will be selling candy cane grams for $1 from Mon-Fri at lunchtimes.

LUNCH:

Lasagna rollup, garlic toast, side salad, peach cup and milk.

And now it’s time for Manic Mystery Monday so pop your thinking caps on and teachers dial 1420 when you have heard the entire question and your class has an answer:

  • Thursday we have a FFA meeting at 5:30pm in Mrs Miller’s room. This is an opportunity for parents to ask questions about the FFA contest including; public speaking, creed speaking and Jr. High conducts of meetings

    • 🎉8th grade have been ON IT!  Both Mr Brown and Mr. Dahlke's room met their fundraising goals!

    • If your first hour class has not met their goal, items are due by Friday.

    • Friday is a pajama day.

    • Show off your favorite hat and support a great cause this Friday, December 12th! We are hosting a "Wear a Hat Day" fundraiser. For a donation of just $1, you can wear your favorite hat all day long at school. Students who want to participate can purchase a light blue wristband. This confirms you can wear a hat. Wristbands will be sold the morning of in the Middle School Lobby.

    • Student Council is hosting a Christmas Party & Dance N from 3-4:30.  Cost is $3 & tickets will be for sale that day in the morning & during lunches. 

    • If you are coming to the dance Friday & would like to make a song request, please check your email & fill out the google form today or tomorrow. 

Next week the Citizenship Class will be selling candy cane grams for $1 from Mon-Fri at lunchtimes.

LUNCH:

Chicken quesadilla, beans, mandarin oranges and milk.

Happy Birthday over the snow days to Danniell G.  Hope that you had a terrific day Danniell!  And happy birthday to Jordan B. today!

We have an early release for wrestling today at 2:45pm.

  • Friday:

    • You know what that sound means : Mr Wertz’s class met their goal and are even trying to double it and not to be outdone, Mr Wooley and Mr Hufnagel’s classes also met their goal!!!   Nice job guys!

    • If you do not have a wristband and did not pay $1 to wear a hat you can run down to the office to pay.

    • The student council Christmas Party & Dance is from 3-4:30pm this afternoon.  Tickets will be available at lunchtime and cost $3. 

    • No sugar sling early release as concessions will be sold at the dance.

    • No cell phones at the dance.  Bring your $$ with you as your personal belongings must stay in your lockers and you will not be allowed to go back to them until release.
