Our Leadership Team want to remind you that September is ‘Suicide Prevention Month’. Since suicide is, sadly, one of the leading causes of death among young people, we’re asking everyone to wear purple this Thursday to raise awareness. And beyond just wearing purple, we’re also sharing resources on how we can support each other and reach out for help in times of need. Let’s turn the school purple and show we’re all in this together.
“Be the one to ask. Be the one to listen. Be the one to help.”.
LUNCH:
Chicken quesadilla, beans, applesauce and milk.
Have a terrific Tuesday everybody and remember it may not be easy but it will definitely be worth it!

X Country News:
Big kudos to our X Country team who tackled the Owosso Speedway yesterday. Despite the heat and pretty challenging course, our runners really showed us what they're made of!
In addition to George 'The Animal' R. and Landon D.'s standout races, we want to highlight some of our amazing 6th grade girls: Lucy S., Addie K. and London P. have been showing continuous improvement every single race. They're really stepping up and making us proud. Great job to the entire team for your effort and dedication - let's keep that momentum rolling! The cross country team need tom eet in Mr Snyder's room after school today for cake and donuts.
We have Student Challenge tomorrow morning in the IC.

As we move through September, let’s remember that it’s ‘Suicide Prevention Month’ and tomorrow we will be wearing purple to raise awareness. Today we want to remind everyone that our school is a community where it’s ok to talk about tough feelings. If you, or a friend, ever need support, know that there are people here ready to listen - teachers, counselors, and friends. Let's look out for one another and keep our conversations kind. Together we can make a difference!
LUNCH:
Biscuit, sausage & gravy, tater tots, fruit juice and milk.
It’s Hump Day and we now have the inspirational quote of the week about how to be there for one another. You heard it yesterday:
Quote: “Be the one to ask. Be the one to listen. Be the one to help.”.
Have a wonderful Wednesday everybody! We’re halfway there so let’s make the rest of this week really count!
