We’re excited to be starting the school year. For all of our new students, I will be reading announcements every morning at 7:55am. You should already be seated in class at that point, ready to hear the words of wisdom that I shall share with all of you lucky ducks!! There will also be info on clubs, sports and other activities. Mondays are Manic Mystery Monday trivia days where your entire class can win a sweet treat and Fridays are Ms. Holley’s Chuckle Time where you will roar with laughter at my hi-larious jokes. So much to look forward to!!

It’s Thankful Thursday! Every Thursday we’re going to flex our gratitude muscles and make ourselves a little bit happier by thinking of something that we can be thankful for. Did you know that that is actually a scientific fact! We can truly make ourselves happier by doing that! Anyhoo, I think that we can all reflect on yesterday as having been a GREAT start to the school year! Hopefully your lockers opened easily and you had a chance to see friends who you might have missed over the summer. It’s a lot to be thankful for!
We will have concessions tomorrow at the end of the day so bring your monies for the sugar sling! Don’t forget that if you purchase a drink or food item, it cannot be eaten on the bus.

Don’t forget that food is not permitted to leave the cafeteria; this includes at breakfast time. Food must be eaten in the cafeteria, not the hallway, classrooms and for the love of all that is holy, never, ever in the bathrooms because that is just ick!

Girls Basketball Info
There is a parent/athlete meeting on Sunday at 6:00pm in the middle school cafeteria with Coach McKinney for any girl interested in playing basketball.
X-Country Info
Cross Country practice starts Monday, August 25th. Practices will run from 3:15 - 4:45pm. You must have a physical on file to participate. See Coach Snyder for any additional information.
Today is Picture Day. Each grade level will have students called in groups alphabetically by last name. You will walk silently to and from the HS gym for pictures when the photographer is ready. HS goes first so it will be a while.
