In track news:

Tuesday afternoon marked our second track meet of the week, and our athletes delivered outstanding performances across the board! The Marauders took home a decisive team victory with several athletes achieving personal records and season's best times.

Competition was fierce, especially among our own teammates. In a thrilling 800-meter showdown, Joe K. crossed the finish line just ahead of Will B. to claim first place, with Gavin T. battling hard to secure fourth place in the same event.

The field events saw equally impressive performances, with Christian C. out-jumping Kane P. for the top spot in long jump.

And special recognition goes to Skylar J., who clearly enjoys hearing Ms. Holley announce her victories over the loudspeaker – she gave us double the reason to celebrate by winning first place in not one, but TWO events!

We also need to correct a mistake from yesterday's meet – the Fan of the Day award was given to the wrong person! It should have gone to the one and only Grace T., whose enthusiastic cheering could be heard clear across three counties as she supported her teammates!

Track practice will be held after school today. All team members should report to the gym first, where we'll be presenting medals from our past two invitational meets.

LUNCH:

Pepperoni pizza, corn, pineapple and milk.

It is Thankful Thursday today so let's take a minute to be grateful for the friends who lift us up, and don't tear us down; who make us more than we are and do not encourage us to be less.

Have a terrific Thursday everybody and remember it may not be easy but it will definitely be worth it!
