In track news today, our Marauder’s kicked off their season yesterday at Mount Morris. Both the boys and girls teams knocked off two out of the three competitors. Amazing performances by Pole Vaulter Bentley Nagel, and shot putters Todd Fox and Grace Tuma. I sound like a broken record but once again we had three record breakers on our first meet! Surprisingly, Kane P. broke the school record in the 200 m hurdles held by Mr. Latz‘s youngest brother Joey and two others, and then Skylar J. broke her BFFs long jump record with a jump of 13 feet. BUT THEN her BFF Tori K. was not gonna let that go and she broke Skyler‘s record with a jump of 13‘2“ Amazing. Wow this is gonna be a season to remember! No practice today tracksters!
LUNCH:
Mac and cheese, side salad, fruit slushie, cinnamon roll and milk.
It’s Hump Day and we now have the inspirational quote of the week to get you over the hump:
