Announcements Monday 04/22/2024:

Good morning staff and students!  Welcome to Ovid-Elsie Middle School where we are inspiring life-long learners to achieve their full potential and excel in a changing world.  Today is Monday April 22nd, 2024.  Please stand for the pledge…..

Track & Field practice today from 3:15-5pm.  We will have team and individual pictures taken today after baseball and softball so please be sure to have your uniforms.  Call home and have your parent/guardian bring it if you forgot it.

A reminder that the Performing Arts forms for next year MUST be turned in by Wednesday.  No late submissions will be accepted.

Also please remember that the IC and office will not have any more Chromebooks or chargers to lend out until the end of the year.  You must bring your Chromebooks fully charged every day.

6th and 8th grade are doing MSTEP tomorrow.  Halls must be silent during this time.  This means lunches must be quiet also.  Make sure that you get to bed early, eat a good breakfast and be in school before 7:55am, ready to start working.

Please make sure that all rocks, pebbles, stones and any other stone-like materials are left on the ground where they are.  When rocks are taken from the border and put on the grass the lawnmower kicks them up and they can damage property, break windows and hurt people.

If you are going to a teacher's classroom during lunch, check in with the teacher to verify that they are available that day for lunch and to pick up a classroom lunch pass. Please go and pick up your lunch, give the pass to your teacher and then stay in the classroom until lunch is over, using a bathroom pass if necessary.
