There is no 6th grade chess this Tuesday after school.
There will be pickles sold by your student council on Wednesday at lunchtime for $1.
You can pick up forms in the office to purchase a flag for $1 to celebrate Veterans. Flags will be displayed on the corner of Hollister and Colony Rd.
Friday night the middle school wrestling team traveled to Mt. Morris and competed in the League Preseason tournament. We had a good showing with several earning their first wins of their career. Great group of young wrestlers with a bright future.
Highlights of the Night
Liam B earns 1st place going 3-0 with 1 pin
Anthony T earned 1st place going 3-0 with 2 pins
Landen V 1st place going 2-0 with 2 pins
Connor M earned 2nd place going 2-1 with 2 pins
Bentlee R 3rd place going 1-2 with 1 pin
Logan S 3rd place going 1-2 with 1 pin
Brent S 3rd place going 1-2 with 1 pin
Alex T 3rd place going 1-2 with 1 pin
The rest fought hard earning tons of experience but did not place.
Tuesday 11/7 is our 1st home meet of the season. 5pm start time. Come out and show some support for the team. 11/11 we have our 1st home tournament of the season. starts at 9am

The 8th Grade Boys split their games with New Lothrop last night.
The B Team got a great team win by the score of 18-15. The A Team took the loss by the score of 27-43.
The boys play at Durand on Wednesday.
Spirit Bus(es)- We have TWO Spirit Buses reserved for Saturday's game. The cost is $5 to ride there and back. We'll need to leave about 10:15 am to get there on time. We are planning on stopping at McDonald's on the way back. Tickets for the game ($9) MUST be purchased before getting on the Spirit Bus by either using the GoFan app, OR see Ms. Blank and she can purchase a set of tickets for the people on the buses.

Last night we wrestled our first home meet of the season against Montrose, Durand and Webberville. We did not disappoint! All of our wrestlers competed with intensity and showed improvement. Some stayed undefeated while others earned their first wins of the season.

Brent S 1-0 with 1 pin

Maddie I, Marcus P and Logan S

Connor Mc with the most exciting match of the night winning 8-6 in Overtime!
We are back in action this Saturday at Home versus some very tough competition at our Annual Round Robin Team Tournament!

A reminder that students are not permitted to stay after school to wait for a game or practice if it does not start immediately after school. This is a safety issue. You must go home and return for later games.

Tardies are on the rise. Please make sure that you are getting to class with all of your supplies on time. If you need to come to the office, you must check in with your teacher first and get a pass, otherwise you will be marked tardy as the office cannot give you a tardy pass for that.
7th grade boys basketball had a win last night over Chesaning with a score of 47-11. Excellent work guys!
