There will be a new student challenge leadership meeting for committed 7th and 8th grade students this Wednesday at 7:30am in the IC cafe area. If you are interested in being a leader and helping out you are welcome.
This Wednesday, October 11th at 6 pm in the High School Cafeteria the FFA October meeting will be having a costume contest, cider and donuts, and also painting pumpkins. Sign-ups are in the MS office.
We also have sign ups for wrestling in the office still. That begins October 23rd from 3:30-5:30pm, in the middle school cafeteria.
The Michigan vs Michigan St. Coin War is still going on through October 20th. If you want to support MI for example, put coins in MI and dollars in MSU. If you want to support MSU put coins in MSU and dollars in MI. |
And now it’s time for Manic Mystery Monday so pop your thinking caps on and teachers dial 1420 when you have heard the entire question and your class has an answer and today we’re going to shake things up with a staff trivia question:

Pickles are for sale at lunchtime tomorrow for $1 by your student council.
No soda, energy drinks or coffee is permitted in the school before school, at lunchtime, or on the bus.
Congratulations to the 8th gr & HS band who got a straight 1st division rating at Marching Band Festival last night.
We have an early release for X Country at 2:40 today

The cross country team braved the cold and rain as they ran in their last home meet of the season yesterday. Even in those conditions 11 athletes were able to break their own personal records! Graice H, Elizabeth K, Lizzy T, Bella S, and Lily M all bested their times by over a minute. On the boys side Clayton S and John P also cut down their PR's by a minute or more. The Cross Country team wants to thank everyone for supporting the team this season especially Mr. Belill in his rubber boots. Since everyone ran so great yesterday the coaches are giving you a day off today. Go home after school and enjoy some rest! Practice continues Thursday after school in Coach Snyder's room.

Doors for the MS open at 7:20am. Drop off must be at 7:20am or later. This is a safety issue, particularly as days get darker and colder.
No food or drink may leave the cafeteria at breakfast or lunch. Milk and juice must be consumed before leaving and garbage thrown away.
We will have concessions tomorrow at the end of the day so bring your monies for the sugar sling!

Happy Birthday to Nicholas F today and to Sofia C and Bentley N over the weekend. Have a sensational birthday guys! Our very own OE Bill Nye the Science guy, the biggest, cuddliest MI fan around, Mr Wertz is having a birthday tomorrow so if you see him wish him a very happy birthday today!
