Middle school students interested in joining FFA can attend the FFA kick off meeting Wednesday 9/13 at 6pm in the High School Cafeteria.
If you plan to attend please sign up in Mrs. Hoffman or Mrs. Miller's room so we can get an accurate head count for pizza.

Our Homecoming Spirit Week Day tomorrow is ‘Ranch’ so dress in your country/western gear. Thursday will be ‘Poppy Seed’ so make sure that you have polka dots ready to go.
A big thank you to all of the 6th grade students who wrote me a thank you card. I’m reading all of them and they make me very happy!

Student Challenge will be held in the IC tomorrow morning @ 7:25am. We are changing up the area in the IC AND the order of events to accommodate the larger group, so come early and stay the whole time to check it out.
Our Spirit Day tomorrow is Poppy Seed Dressing, so come to school rocking some polka dots! Friday is, as always, House Dressing - otherwise known as OE Spirit Wear.
The cross country team saw action again yesterday at Chesaning Show Boat Park. Many of our young runners broke their own personal records. Sofia C turned in the fastest girls’ time of the season setting her own PR. Other commendable runners include Alizabeth T, Clayton S, and Brookelyn K for dropping their times by more than 2 minutes! Way to go! Coaches continue to be proud of this team’s competitive spirit and still are looking for a few more runners. See Coach Snyder for details. Practice after school today will start in Coach Snyder’s room at 3:15pm.
The chess club will be meeting in Mr. Elliott’s room 103 tonight from 3-5, all are welcome.
It’s Hump Day and we now have the student inspirational quote of the week from the Dalai Lama to get you over the hump:
