Parents, the school year is almost over, please reserve your copy of the OEHS Yearbook soon. We will be giving a final count in a week to the publisher. We will not be able to order more books after the count is given. Please go to www.jostens.com and select Ovid Elsie High School to fill out the form for your copy. We also have limited space left for senior graduation ads. If you want an ad for your graduating son or daughter, contact Advisor Michael Puffpaff ASAP at michael.puffpaff@ovidelsie.org.

The Middle School Student Council has been active this month running a mask decorating contest and a creative writing contest and the results of both were drawn last week. For the mask art contest a template was provided to every member of the school (online and face to face) for them to decorate: 4th place went to Elizabeth F, 3rd place went to Laiken W, 2nd place went to Riley C, & 1st place went to Victoria D. Congrats! Victoria will be having a REAL MASK custom made from her design! For the creative writing contest contestants were asked to write about the pandemic in one of a variety of suggested ways: 4th place went to Brianna B, 3rd place went to Clarissa B, 2nd place went to Icnacio O, and 1st place went to Alison K. Alison received a $15 Visa Gift Card. Congratulations to the winners but a shout-out to every single person who submitted an entrance in either contest. The entries were absolutely overflowing with creativity! Special thanks to Denise Willbanks who spends countless hours providing our students with fun opportunities and encouraging our Student Council. view image
