In a study of financial responsibility and academic achievement paid for by the State of Michigan, only 17 school districts or 3% of the total were considered exemplary. Michigan has 587 school districts!
Ovid-Elsie Area Schools is asking the community to vote on May 7, 2019 to extend our current bond debt by three years to provide the district with $6 million to fund capital improvements throughout the school system.
By doing this, we can continue to keep our facilities up-to-date and allow our dollars to go directly to our classrooms and provide our students and staff with the necessary learning tools needed to keep Ovid-Elsie Area Schools the nationally and state recognized district of academic and financial excellence.
