  • For our Kindness Challenge this week: pick a teacher every day to say something nice to.

  • Campus Life will meet every Monday starting November 18th from 3:15-4:45.  For questions, please see Mr. Hazle or Mrs. Willbanks.  

  • 7th grade are in the gym tomorrow morning.  Please drop your stuff at your locker and make your way immediately to the gym.

  • A reminder that you can purchase tickets for $3 to the upcoming Halloween Bash on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, NOT on Thursday, the day of the event. Please plan ahead!

  • And now it’s time for Manic Mystery Monday, Teachers please call Extension 1420 when you have heard the entire question and remember, NO HELPING:

    • Question: Transylvania is now located in which European country?

    • Answer: Romania

    • Notes: Transylvania is the setting of Bram Stoker's famous novel Dracula, it is a historical region located in what is now the central part of Romania.

Announcements 10/29/2019

  • For our Kindness Challenge this week: pick a teacher today and tell them something valuable that you have learned from them.
  • Tonight is the Middle School & Jazz Band Concert.  Band students must report to the band room at 6:30pm.  The concert begins at 7pm.

  • 8th grade are in the gym tomorrow morning.  Drop your stuff at your locker and make your way immediately to the gym.

  • Tomorrow morning is the last day to purchase tickets for $3 to the upcoming Halloween Bash on Thursday. Student Council members: if you forgot what you signed up for to help with this week, the sign up lists are taped to the window by Mr. Fluharty’s door. Stop by and check it out to make sure that you are honoring your commitments. 

  • A reminder that costumes for Halloween must be school appropriate, covering shoulders and be at least finger length long.  Masks, weapons and blood are not permitted.

  • Student Challenge will be this Thursday morning in the student workroom.  Our new after school program, “Campus Life” will be starting November 18th. Please see Mr. Hazle for details. 

  • Finally we have a student who celebrated a birthday yesterday: Happy Birthday Dannon K.  Hope that it was a great day Dannon!

Announcements 10/30/2019

  • For our Kindness Challenge this week: thank a teacher today for all the extra work that they do after hours to make sure that you have after school events like the Bash, robotics club, DC trip, athletics events and concessions.

  • 8th graders reminder to turn in your pink permission slips to the office or your 1st hour teacher by Friday, November 1st to attend the Clinton County Career Expo field trip next Wednesday, November 6th. 

  • 6th grade are in the gym tomorrow morning.  

  • Tomorrow is the Halloween Bash.  Please make sure you have a ride home at 4:45.  Leave your stuff, including your phones, in your lockers and bring your ticket and money for concessions to the lobby at the end of the day.  Student Council members: if you forgot what you signed up to help with this week, the sign up lists are taped to the window by Mr. Fluharty’s door.     • Question:  What do you get when you cross a vampire with a teacher?

    • Answer:  A lot of blood tests!  (Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah!!)

  • For our Kindness Challenge this week: be sure to thank all of those who have made your Halloween Bash possible; that means your student council, parent and staff chaperones and most especially Mrs Willbanks and Mr Fluharty who have put in a ton of work!!

  • 8th graders reminder to turn in your pink permission slips to the office or your 1st hour teacher by tomorrow to attend the Clinton County Career Expo field trip next Wednesday.

  • 7th grade are in the gym tomorrow morning.  

  • If you have a ticket to the Bash this afternoon: Leave your stuff, including your phones, in your lockers and bring your ticket and money for concessions to the lobby at the end of the day.

  • MS robotics team will be running their annual coin war fundraiser to help purchase team t-shirts.  Please bring in your coins from Mon-Fri next week.  

  • 7th & 8th Graders interested in Cheerleading there is a sign up in the office. Optional practice will start Monday, 5:30 to 7:30. Reminder you must have a sports physical on file before you can practice.

  • For our Kindness Challenge this week: we are appreciating our teachers.  Remember that when they are pushing you to give your best, they are caring about you and your future. 

  • MS robotics team will be running their annual coin war fundraiser to help purchase team t-shirts.  Please bring in your coins from Mon-Fri next week.  Team members will be stopping in to each 1st hour teacher’s class this morning to explain the rules.

  

  • 7th & 8th Graders optional practice start Monday, 5:30 to 7:30. Reminder you must have a sports physical on file before you can practice.
