  • For this week’s Kindness Challenge: be a good listener.  To be an active listener you must start with a conscious effort to focus on what the other person is saying.    

  • 6th grade who are going to the gym at lunchtime must put their shoes on and keep them on!

  • Reminder to any 6th and 7th graders interested in coming to basketball camp next week: get your forms turned in to Coach Latz this week so we can order shirts! If you need a form, they are in the office. Also, any 8th grade boys playing summer basketball, get your money turned in to Coach Latz this week!

  • Any 8th grade girls that want to play soccer for the high school next year please come to an informational meeting in Mr. Fluharty's room this Friday at 7:40.

  • Any 8th Graders interested in being a class officer next year. Please pick up a form in the office. Forms need to be returned to the office by Friday, May 31 @ 3PM

  • Yearbooks are here and Mr. Kingsbury will be handing them out during lunches today only to those students who purchased them and have their yearbook ticket that was given to them in their first hour class.  Anyone who purchased a yearbook but does not have their ticket will have to pick their yearbook up on Wednesday at lunch.

There are some extra yearbooks, so if you forgot to order one you can still get one.  The number of extras are limited so it will be first come, first serve on those until they are gone.  We are only taking cash payments for the extras.  Cost will be $40. You will be able to start purchasing these extra yearbooks on Wednesday at lunch.

  • And now it’s time for  Tricky Trivia Tuesday! Teachers please call Extension 1420 when you have heard the entire question and remember, NO HELPING:

Please double check the lost and found….all items will be donated on Friday.

If you are would like a Yearbook and did not purchase one there are a limited number still available.  See Mr. Kingsbury before school or at lunchtime. Cost is $40 cash. They are going quick.

If you are interested in cross country next year there are sign-ups available in the middle school office through Friday.  Current 8th-grade students are encouraged to sign up for varsity cross county.

Finally, Kevin T has a birthday today and over the weekend Manuel C and Aiden L.  Happy Birthday guys!

The concession stand will be open at the end of the day today to appease your sweet tooth!
