The Kindness Challenge this week is about being a good friend. Make your friend feel wanted. Tell them straight that you are glad that they’re your friend. Everyone needs to be reassured now and again.
Congratulations to the Middle School Band for a fantastic performance at Festival earning them straight superior first division ratings across all judging categories, including sight reading where they have only 5 minutes to study a never before seen piece of music and play as a band. This is the first time in the 14 years that Mrs Ignash has taken MS to Festival that this has happened. It should also be mentioned that the professional and respectful way that the students conducted themselves was also commented upon by Festival staff. You make us proud guys!!
We had some birthdays over the weekend. Happy Birthday to Lee F, Abigail T, Aiden C, Westin H, and Ethan K. Hope that you had a great day friends!

The Kindness Challenge this week is about being a good friend. Sometimes being a good friend means hanging in there when things aren’t so great. Maybe your friend is not fun all the time but that’s probably when they need a friend the most.
There will be chess club in the high school tomorrow afternoon from 3-4:30pm.
There will be a student council meeting tomorrow JUST for the 8th grade student council members. This is because last time it didn't happen due to the snow day last week. See you at 7:30 8th graders.

The Kindness Challenge this week is about being a good friend. Good friends understand boundaries and don’t have to be together 24/7, they don’t get upset by the occasional ‘no’. Good friends can survive sometimes hanging with other people too. Your friendship isn’t over if your friend eats lunch with someone else now and again.
A reminder that there are no half court shots in the gym EVER, basketballs and volleyballs must not be kicked. This is a safety issue and will result in a 1 week suspension from before school and lunchtime gym.

The Kindness Challenge this week is about being a good friend. It takes a lot to admit you did something wrong but it is a vital part of being a good friend. Don’t be afraid of admitting to your friends that you messed up. It happens to the best of us. Accept responsibility, apologize and move on.
