  • For this week’s Kindness Challenge: think about ways that you can be productive and helpful over the summer vacation.  Perhaps help an older person with yardwork or groceries.

  • Student council are selling End of Year Bash tickets at lunchtime today.

  • We're happy to announce the May Students of the Month:

    • 6th grade - Ellyanna C & Wesley P

    • 7th grade - Samantha S & Jayden E

    • 8th grade - Gabrielle S & Luke F

We are so proud of your continued hard work in the classroom and dedication to being a good school citizen!  Please come down to the office for your photograph and certificate after announcements.

  • And now it’s time for Manic Mystery Monday, Teachers please call Extension 1420 when you have heard the entire question and remember, NO HELPING:

    • Question: How old was the person who invented popsicles in 1905?

    • Answer: 11 years old.

    • Notes: According to the Popsicle company, one cold evening 11 year old Frank left a mixture of powder flavored soda water with a stir stick in it on the porch. He woke up to a frozen treat on a stick.  Eighteen years later, he introduced the frozen pop on a stick to the public at an amusement park in California and it became a hit.

Have a marvelous Monday!
