State Board President Kathleen Staus noted, “School principals are a critical link for understanding between the community, school district leaders, parents, and classroom teachers they supervise. Teaching and learning in the 21st Century is faced with many new and unique challenges that will require the creative, effective leadership of school principals.”
I concur with this statement. Ovid-Elsie Area Schools has undergone many challenges and changes over the past few years. Since November, over 400 new bills have been introduced into legislation – many of them educationally focused. Leadership today is critical and it is only through a concerted, team effort that we will be successful.
Please join me in thanking our principals for a job well done and to encourage them on future endeavors!
